Cirque Analytics was retained by Sprint Communications Company LP to consider and quantify patent infringement damages for VoIP telephony for several regional and national cable companies.
Dr. Russell Mangum, Executive Vice President at Cirque Analytics, testified at an evidentiary hearing, in deposition, and issued multiple expert reports in this matter and others within the litigation track. Dr. Eric Matolo and Josh Brown managed the extensive multi-year project. Dr. Mangum and the Cirque Analytics team developed three different patent infringement damages methodologies: hypothetical negotiation, lost profits, and the analytical approach.
The parties ultimately entered into a settlement.
